Scheduled flights to Crete

All scheduled international flights transit through Athens where you must take a scheduled domestic flight to Chania or Heraklion. The domestic flights are operated by three carriers, Olympic Air, Aegean Air and Athens Airways (www.athensairways.com) on a frequent schedule (around 9 a day to Chania and more to Heraklion).  You may find that scheduled flights via Athens are a cheaper option compared to charter flights especially if you are booking at short notice. They also offer discount fares to children under 12 years of age.
